James Moody

James Moody is an experienced project lead and researcher with a focus on conflict analysis and needs assessment. Currently serving as Project Lead at ORB International and Head of Research at Bodhi Global Analysis, James has previously held positions as Senior Research Manager at M&C Saatchi World Services and REACH Assessment Officer for Libya with the REACH Initiative, where extensive field research was conducted. A notable tenure as Africa Research Manager at the Armed Conflict Location & Event Data Project included coordinating impactful consultancy projects and data collection during significant electoral occurrences in Kenya. James holds a PhD from the University of Sussex and has a strong academic background in geography and political science, bolstered by early career experiences in various intern roles in legal and tax firms.
