Burak Ay

Burak Ay has a strong background in stress engineering and structural analysis for aerospace companies. Burak has been working at Orbex as a Lead Stress Engineer since 2022, analyzing the structural components of launch vehicles and improving composite structural analysis methods. Prior to this, Burak worked at Turkish Aerospace from 2017 to 2022, starting as a Lead Stress Engineer and eventually becoming the Structural Analysis Chief Engineer for the TF-X 5th generation fighter aircraft program. In this role, they were responsible for the structural integrity of the aircraft, leading the structural analysis and developing concepts for structural layouts, optimizing sizing, and evaluating new structural technologies.
