Stuart Place

Stuart Place is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in client management and business development. Currently serving as a Co-Founder and Director (Volunteer) at SLC6A1 Kids since August 2023, Stuart also holds the position of Senior Institutional Client Manager at Orbis Investments since November 2019. Prior roles include Associate Director at IFM Investors from November 2011 to November 2019, and Business Development Associate and Marketing Consultant at Mercer from December 2007 to November 2011. Stuart’s career began as a Marketing Executive at Vision (In Practice Systems Ltd) from 2004 to 2006. Academic qualifications include a Master of Applied Finance, Investment Management from Kaplan Australia (2013-2016), with additional training from the Australian Direct Marketing Association in 2008, and a Bachelor of Commerce from Deakin University (1999-2001).
