Bob Herman

Bob Herman is a Senior Program Manager at Orbis, Inc., specializing in commercial shipbuilding management and special mission systems acquisition programs since January 2008. With extensive experience in providing consultancy on the interface of complex mission electronics systems and various ship systems, Bob contributes to ship acquisition strategies. Prior to this role, Bob served as a Project Manager for Special Mission Ships at Naval Sea Systems Command from August 1975 to December 2007, focusing on DOD commercial new construction shipbuilding and conversion project management. Bob holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Engineering from the United States Merchant Marine Academy, obtained between 1971 and 1975.
