Kendra Stewart has been working in the professional world since 2004. Kendra began their career as a Facility Care Tech at Willow Creek Community Church, before taking an internship at Redeemer Church of Downers Grove in 2012. In 2009, they also interned at SOMA Communities. From 2014-2016, they were an Office Professional at Thrivent Financial, providing administrative support to financial representatives, updating the contact management system with client/member information, and assisting the financial representatives in the preparation and follow up for the client/member meetings. Since 2016, they have been a Project Manager at Awana®. Most recently, they began working as a Project Manager at Orbit Media Studios in 2021.
Kendra Stewart obtained their Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in November 2017. Kendra earned their MDiv from the Northern Baptist Theological Seminary with an emphasis in Missional Church in 2013. From 2007 to 2009, they earned their BA in Youth Ministry/Adolescent Studies from Judson University. From 2004 to 2007, they earned their Associates Degree in General Studies from William Rainey Harper Community College.
