Stuart Taylor

Stuart Taylor is an accomplished analytical chemist with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist at Purespring Therapeutics since July 2024, Stuart specializes in AAV HPLC method development, validation, and transfer, alongside expertise in analytical chemistry. Previous roles include Senior Expert Science & Technology at Novartis, where responsibilities expanded from Gyroscope Therapeutics to focus on large-scale chromatography, and Analytical Development Scientist at Gyroscope Therapeutics, where independent development of HPLC methods for gene therapy vectors was a primary task. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Analytical Scientist at GSK, where Stuart was involved in method development and regulatory submissions, as well as roles at RB and Symrise that included drug product R&D and flavor ingredient research. Stuart holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from The University of Sheffield.
