Jonathan Godwin

Jonathan Godwin is an experienced professional in technology and social finance, currently serving as CEO of Orbital Materials since October 2022. Prior to this role, Jonathan held positions at DeepMind as a Senior Research Engineer from March 2018 to September 2022, where a staff engineer position was declined in favor of entrepreneurship. Jonathan's earlier experience includes working as a Machine Learning Engineer at Bloomsbury AI, contributing to natural language processing projects, and as an Associate at Social Finance, a leading social investment intermediary, where Jonathan was involved in significant social impact initiatives. Additionally, Jonathan served as CEO of Community Capital, focusing on developing a peer-to-peer lending platform. Jonathan holds a Master of Science in Machine Learning from UCL and a degree in Mathematics and Philosophy from the University of Bristol.
