Benjamin Holmes

Benjamin Holmes has a diverse work experience spanning from 2009 to present. Benjamin currently holds the position of Director of Data Sciences at Orbital Therapeutics, a role they started in March 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Glympse Bio, where they held the role of Principal Data Scientist from July 2022 to March 2023 and Senior Data Scientist II from February 2021 to July 2022. Benjamin's earliest work experience was in 2009 at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, where they served as a Research Staff member until 2010. Benjamin then pursued graduate studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from 2010 to 2013, where they worked as a Graduate Student in the Manolis Kellis Lab and the Feng Zhang Lab. Following their time at MIT, Benjamin joined the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard in 2013 as a Computational Biologist affiliated with the Feng Zhang Lab and later as a Data Scientist until 2019. Benjamin returned to MIT in 2018 as a Graduate Research Fellow until February 2021. Overall, Benjamin has a strong background in data sciences, with a focus on computational biology and regulatory network analysis.

Benjamin Holmes obtained their Bachelor's degree in Physics from Cornell University. Benjamin then pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Computer Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2010 to 2020.
