Jan Goodman, RN, BSN, CPSN-R, has extensive experience in nursing and healthcare consulting since the early 1980s. Currently serving as a Medical Courier at Orca Biosystems, Inc. since July 2020, Jan ensures the safe transportation of blood components to hospitals across California. Jan also works as a Legal Nurse Consultant, reviewing medical malpractice cases to provide evidence-based insights, and as an Accreditation Consultant, aiding facilities in achieving AAAASF Accreditation. Previously, Jan held roles as a Registered Nurse supporting Covid-19 vaccination efforts, an OR Staff Nurse at various hospitals, and a Nursing Administrator. Jan received a BSN degree from Stony Brook University and has additional qualifications from LIU Post in nursing administration and clinical nursing.
