Tom Micklewright

Tom Micklewright has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Tom started their career as a Medical Doctor at NHS in 2012, where they assessed, diagnosed, and managed patients' health needs, as well as maintained clinical practice and knowledge. Tom then worked as a Medical Advisor at OMRON Group from May 2022 to March 2023.

From 2015 to 2018, Tom held various roles at the British Medical Association, including Chairman of the BMA GP Trainee Subcommittee and Mersey Representative, where they represented GP trainees' interests in terms of education, training, and conditions of service.

In 2016, they founded Head Salad Ltd. and served as the Chief Executive Officer until February 2020. In this role, they developed an evidence-based curriculum to educate children and young people in mental health self-care and basic cognitive-behavioral therapy.

Currently, Tom is employed by NHS Cheshire and Merseyside as the ICB Clinical Lead for Digital Transformation in Primary Care since May 2023.

Aside from their healthcare roles, Tom was also invited as the Master of Ceremonies for the International Women's Day Conference of the Women Leaders Association in March 2020, showcasing their advocacy for equality and diversity.
