Marc Blitz

Marc Blitz has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Marc began their career as a Medical Laboratory Technologist at Beaumont Health in March 2010 and held this position until November 2015. From November 2015 to May 2017, they served as a LIS Specialist II at Beaumont Health. Subsequently, Marc joined Beaumont Health's IT Amb & Post-Actute Admin team as a Systems Analyst - IT. From May 2020 to June 2023, they worked at Helix Diagnostics, initially as an Information Technology Specialist, then as the Manager of Laboratory Information Systems, and finally as the LIS Coordinator. Currently, Marc is the Director of Laboratory Technology at Orchard Laboratories, a position they have held since June 2023.

Marc Blitz obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Laboratory Diagnostics from Michigan State University between 2005 and 2009. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Medical Informatics at the University of Illinois Chicago from 2014 to 2016. Additionally, they obtained the MLS(ASCP)cm certification from The American Society for Clinical Pathology in May 2022.
