Jeff Aris

Jeff Aris has a strong legal background with experience in various roles. Jeff is currently serving as the Deputy General Counsel at Orchard since August 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Associate General Counsel at Orchard from June 2020 to August 2022.

Before joining Orchard, Jeff worked at General Assembly as a Senior Counsel - Enterprise and Business Affairs from April 2019 to June 2020, and as a Commercial Counsel from January 2018 to March 2019.

Jeff also worked at WorldQuant LLC as an Associate General Counsel from January 2017 to September 2017.

Jeff started their legal career at Hogan Lovells, where they held the role of Senior Associate from October 2016 to January 2017, and as an Associate from October 2012 to October 2016.

Prior to their associate role at Hogan Lovells, Jeff worked as a Summer Associate at the same company from May 2011 to July 2011.

Jeff Aris completed their education in a chronological order, beginning with obtaining a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History and Criminal Justice from Rutgers University from 2004 to 2008. Jeff then pursued a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree in Law from Georgetown University Law Center, which they completed between 2009 and 2012.

In addition to their academic achievements, Jeff Aris also obtained a certification as a Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/US) in February 2021. This certification was acquired from the IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals.
