Annie Saumier

Annie Saumier, MBA has a diverse and extensive work experience in the music industry. Annie is currently the Director of Education at the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal, one of the top orchestras in the world. In this role, they oversee the orchestra's educational programs and initiatives.

Prior to their current position, Annie served as the Associate Director of Communications and Production at the Schulich School of Music of McGill University. Annie led the Communications and Production unit, which was responsible for marketing, communications, and logistical planning for over 600 concerts and events annually.

Annie also has experience in arts administration and management. Annie was the General and Artistic Director of the Société pour les arts en milieux de santé, where they managed the presentation of over 500 concerts per year in healthcare facilities across Quebec. Annie was also responsible for financial management and developing the artistic season.

Additionally, Annie has held positions at the International Laboratory for Brain, Music and Sound Research (BRAMS), MusicFest Vancouver, and Jeunesses Musicales Canada. Annie'sroles ranged from administration and program coordination to tour management and concert production.

Annie Saumier, MBA, has a diverse educational background spanning various fields of study. Annie'seducation history begins with a Bachelor's degree in Music Performance, specializing in saxophone, which they obtained from the Université de Montréal from 1997 to 2000.

In 2001 and 2002, Annie pursued a Graduate Diploma in the Management of Cultural Organizations at HEC Montréal. Following this, in 2006, they completed the Canadian Securities Course at the Canadian Securities Institute, focusing on finance.

Annie's academic pursuits continued in 2007, as they obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from HEC Montréal, with a focus on Business Administration and Management.
