Patrick J. Dietzen

Patrick J. Dietzen is the Director of Operations at Orchid, a suite of open source tools and cryptographic protocols developed and run by people who want the internet to extend our natural human freedom, not curtail it. Prior to Orchid, Dietzen was the Operations & Business Development at SaurikIT LLC, a software development, consulting, and e-commerce company. At SaurikIT, Dietzen was responsible for the company's global user base of 30 million+ access to software enhancements and modifications for their devices that are not available from Apple. Patrick also consulted on technology ventures including cofounding and consulting Orchid Labs, Inc., a venture capital backed company developing a decentralized, open-source solution for a surveillance-free internet.

Patrick J. Dietzen has a Philosophy BA from University of California, Santa Barbara, where they also studied Biology & Chemistry and earned a Certificate in Entrepreneurship & Engineering Management (TMP). Patrick was President of the Student Entrepreneurs Association during their time at UC Santa Barbara. Prior to that, they attended Hinsdale Central High School.
