Parimal Bapat

Parimal Bapat, Ph.D. started their work experience as a Quality Engineer at Orchid Orthopedic Solutions in June 2011 before transitioning to a Research Engineer in January 2013. Parimal then progressed to become the Lead Engineer for Product Innovation in February 2019, eventually becoming the Principal Engineer for Product Innovation in October 2021. Prior to their time at Orchid, Parimal worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Alabama at Birmingham from April 2007 to June 2011, focusing on the development of aggregation-free hydroxyapatite nanoparticles for biomedical applications.

Parimal Bapat, Ph.D. earned a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Savitribai Phule Pune University in 2003. Parimal went on to complete a Master of Science in Physics at the same university in 2005. Parimal then pursued further education at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where they obtained a Master of Science in Physics in 2008, followed by a Ph.D. in Physics in 2011.
