Steven Ortiz

Steven Ortiz has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Steven began their career as a Sales Associate, Cashier, and Cash Handler at Old Navy in 2017, where they worked until January 2020. In 2019, they joined Whole Foods Market as a Prepared Foods Team Member, responsible for production and cooking. After two years at Whole Foods, Steven joined Orco Steel, LLC in 2021 as the Head Project Manager, overseeing daily activities, training a team of Junior Project Managers, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Steven Ortiz attended the University of Houston from 2019 to 2022, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management with a minor in Business Administration. In addition to their formal education, they also acquired several certifications, including Rigger & Signal Person from Baker Concrete Construction, Inc. in July 2022, Level 1 Unbonded PT Installation from the Post-Tensioning Institute in March 2022, and various certifications in project management and construction technology from institutions such as Buildertrend, OSHA, and Procore Technologies. Steven also obtained a certification in Texas Lien Laws from the Associated General Contractors of America in 2022.
