Samuel ochuba

Samuel Ochuba has been working in the software engineering field since 2019. In 2019, they worked as a Software Engineer for Freelancer, where they demonstrated strength in learning new technologies and applying them to required solutions. Samuel developed an android app for a church to track member attendance using Google Firebase, GPS, and Android MVVM. Samuel also monitored the bug resolution effort, followed the successes, and created or maintained known test defects databases. In 2020, they worked as an Android Developer for Decagon, where they served as team lead for an app that enabled friends to track each other in real-time. Samuel also used GIT as a code repository and created a music streaming and sharing app for African artists. Samuel also analyzed business requirements to translate functional requirements into technical requirements in mobile Applications. In 2021, they worked as an Android Engineer for ORDA, where they created a core SDK for the POS application that housed the shared business logic for the ORDA POS app. Samuel also designed and developed a responsive mobile application with different user interfaces for both android tablets and phones. Samuel also ensured follow-up by testing (user interface, errors, debugging, publishing) apps after project completion.

Samuel Ochuba obtained a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology, General from the University of Ilorin in 2018. In 2020, they also obtained an Introduction to Personal Branding certification from Coursera.
