Leonard Elvis Ochieng

Leonard Elvis Ochieng has worked in various roles in the software engineering field since 2008. Leonard Elvis began as a Research Assistant at Morgan State University, where they designed a graphical user interface for a wireless channel simulator and programmed a simulator algorithm for node positioning optimization schemes in a mixed network environment. In 2009, they became a Software Engineer at Juxtopia Llc, and also worked as a Research Assistant at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where they developed code for a wireless communications security simulation tool. From 2010 to 2019, they worked at Riverbed Technology as a Software Engineer and Support Engineer. Most recently, they have been a Sr. Software Engineer at Ordermark, where they are building RESTful microservices using Python/Django in AWS that serve React FEs. Leonard Elvis'stech stack includes Python/Django, PostgreSQL, AWS (lambda, SNS/SQS, Cognito, etc. ), Celery, Redis, Docker, and Terraform.

Leonard Elvis Ochieng obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Project Management from the University of Maryland between 2012 and 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Morgan State University between 2006 and 2010. Additionally, they hold certifications from Cisco Systems, Inc for Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and from the Project Management Institute for Project Management Professional (PMP).
