Ahmed Elsayed has worked in the software engineering field since 2006. Ahmed began their career at InspireDev, working as a Software Developer. In 2010, they moved to Theodor Wille Intertrade as a Software Developer, where they lead a geographically distributed team, conducted code peer reviews, and mentored junior developers. In 2016, they joined Swedish Technology as a Senior Software Engineer, where they built a talent acquisition platform web application and REST APIs using Node/Express, Java and MySql. In 2019, they began working at Insightly as a Software Engineer II, where they built various features in Insightly CRM platform using C#, Asp. net, JQuery, MS SQL, DynamoDB, SQS, SendGrid, S3 and Lambda functions. Most recently, they began working at OMG in 2021 as a Senior Software Engineer, where they have worked closely with Product manager, Quality Engineers, UI/UX engineers and engineering team members to ensure the features and/or bugs are addressed correctly and as per specs. Ahmed has also made multiple improvements to the payment service to convert cron-jobs to API endpoints using Golang and mysql, and proposed multiple backend changes and API endpoints to automate semi-manual processes and make it available to the support team.
Ahmed Elsayed obtained a Bachelor degree in Business Administration from Helwan University Cairo from 1998 to 2005. Ahmed then obtained a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Atlanta from 2010 to 2011. Ahmed also holds certifications from various institutions, including UC Berkeley Extension, edX, The Open Group, Scrum Alliance, IBM, Mountain Home Institute, Microsoft, and itSMF USA. The most recent certification obtained is Mastering Agile Development of Software as a Service from UC Berkeley Extension in December 2021. Ahmed also holds a Certified Scrum Professional CSP certification from Scrum Alliance, though the date of obtaining this certification is not specified.
