Sergio Arrieta

Sergio Arrieta has been working in software development since 2013. Sergio began their career at American Airlines as an Associate Software Developer ADEPT 2013, where they were responsible for small GUI enhancements using HTML, CSS, action script, and java script, as well as back end changes using Java and query development in Oracle database. Sergio then moved on to the role of Software Engineer, where they were responsible for the rewrite of an application that manages seat inventory and several data processors that help with irregular operations. In addition, they integrated a new Notifications webservice to their application. After that, they were promoted to Senior Software Engineer, where they were the subject matter expert on the notification piece, GUI, new airline in the system, airline interline messages, and seat management application. Sergio helped design, develop, test, and deploy new applications into production. Currently, Sergio Arrieta is a Senior Software Developer at OMG, a position they have held since 2022.

Sergio Arrieta completed their Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin between 2007 and 2012.
