René Batsford

Rene Batsford is an accomplished technology entrepreneur with extensive experience in digital innovation and business development within the hospitality and retail sectors. As Co-Founder and CEO of OrderPay since March 2019, Batsford has developed a hospitality 'super app' that enhances customer engagement through automated rebranding and menu display. Additionally, Batsford co-founded Checkfer in July 2017, focusing on mobile ordering solutions. Previous roles include Associate Executive at Snatch, Head of Innovation at McDonald's, and CIO at The Coffee Mob. Batsford's career also includes leadership positions in IT at Escher Group, EAT Ltd, Lanworks, AEG, and Molton Brown, demonstrating a strong background in IT management and digital strategy.
