Amanda Doran-Casey

Amanda Doran-Casey is a data curator currently working at Tailte Éireann since March 2023 and at Ordnance Survey Ireland since February 2020. Previous roles include library assistant and data manager at University College Dublin, where experience was gained from July 2018 to February 2020, and serving as a college liaison librarian in the Business & Law department from January 2018 to July 2018. Amanda also worked as a library assistant from January 2006 to December 2017 at UCD and as a postdoctoral researcher focusing on root hair mutants of Arabidopsis thaliana between 2004 and December 2006. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Library and Information Science from Aberystwyth University, a PhD in Plant Genetics from University College Dublin, a Master of Science in Plant Genetic Manipulation from the University of Nottingham, and a Bachelor of Science in Plant Genetics from Aberystwyth University.
