Marissa Wiseman

Marissa Wiseman has a diverse work experience in the dance industry. Marissa began their career in 2005 as a Dance Instructor at Bishop Ford CC HS. Marissa then went on to work as a Dancer at KDH Dance from 2008 to 2009, where they were part of a non-profit collaborative contemporary dance company. From 2009 to 2015, Marissa worked as Manager/Buyer at Bright Lights Dancewear. During the same time period, they were also a Dancer at The Dance Project and Product and QA Coordinator and Customer Success Leader at Ordoro. Finally, Marissa has been a Dance Instructor at Dance Xplosion since 2008, where they teach ballet, pointe, jazz, lyrical, musical theatre, and Pilates to kids ages 8+ and adults.

Marissa Wiseman obtained a BFA in Dance/Choreography from Arizona State University between 2001 and 2004. Marissa then went on to earn an MEd in Secondary Curriculum from Grand Canyon University between 2006 and 2008. In May 2021, they obtained a Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) certification from the Scrum Alliance.
