David Schnitker is an experienced educator and public safety professional. Since August 2015, David has served as a Public Safety Instructor at Lorain County Joint Vocational School District, teaching Firefighting and EMT Basic to high school juniors and seniors, guiding them towards eligibility for National Registry and Ohio Basic EMT certification as well as State Firefighter II certification. In addition to this role, David has been the Public Safety Program Coordinator at Oregon City Schools since January 2013, where responsibilities include scheduling and overseeing all Public Safety classes. David also has extensive experience as a Safety Officer for Troy Township Fire/EMS since 1987. David holds a Bachelor of Education degree in Career and Technical Education from The University of Toledo, earned between 2010 and 2015.
