John Ng

John is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) who brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in financial management and stability for nonprofits. Prior to joining Oregon Food Bank, John has served as the Chief Financial Officer at Volunteers of America Oregon and as Senior Auditor for PricewaterhouseCoopers in Tokyo, Japan. His nonprofit portfolio also includes legal advocacy for immigrants and low-income families in San Francisco and micro-financing support to nonprofits and small businesses in Honolulu, Hawaii.

John teaches the Nonprofit Financial Management course at Portland State University’s Master of Public Administration program. He also speaks four languages: English, Cantonese, Mandarin Chinese and Japanese.
