Monika Davare has a strong background in research and academia. Monika started their career as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1996. In 2000, they became a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Oregon Health & Science University and went on to hold several roles within the institution, including Sr. Research Associate, Research Instructor, Assistant Professor, and Associate Professor. Monika is currently the Associate Director of the Pape Family Pediatric Research Institute and the Sada and Rebecca Tarshis Endowed Professor of Pediatric Research. In 2024, they will assume the role of Associate Vice President for Basic Research at Oregon Health & Science University. Monika'swork focuses on various research activities within the field of pediatrics.
Monika Davare holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Pharmacology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, which they obtained from 1996 to 2000. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Maine, earning a B.A. in Zoology/Philosophy from 1991 to 1995.
