Kate B. Lieber

Kate B. Lieber currently serves as an Oregon State Senator, a role held since July 2024, and has been a State Senator in the Oregon Legislature since January 2021. Prior experience includes serving as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at Portland Community College from January 2009 to January 2021, and as a Board Member for the Psychiatric Security Review Board from October 2009 to June 2017. Earlier in the career, Kate B. Lieber worked as a Deputy District Attorney at the Multnomah County District Attorney's Office from November 1995 to June 2008. Kate B. Lieber holds a Juris Doctor degree from Indiana University Maurer School of Law, obtained between 1990 and 1993, and a Bachelor’s degree from Smith College.
