Dewayne Irvin serves as the Assistant Chief Engineer at OPB since October 2020, providing leadership and technical expertise for broadcast operations in the Western region. Prior to this role, Dewayne worked as a Maintenance Engineer, ensuring the design, installation, and maintenance of OPB’s content delivery technologies. Experience includes serving as Facilities Maintenance Supervisor for Corvallis School District 509J, leading maintenance staff, and overseeing projects. Dewayne held multiple positions in the US Navy, including Assistant Department Head/Maintenance Officer for HSC-23, managing maintenance for various aircraft, and Quality Assurance/Support Equipment Officer on the USS Ronald Reagan during Operation Tomodachi. Additionally, Dewayne was an Electro-Optical and CASS Sustainment Acquisition Program Manager at NAVAIR, leading cross-functional teams on substantial acquisition contracts. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Project Management from Florida Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of La Verne.
