Hélder is currently working at Jumia Group as a Data Engineering Manager, where they manage projects related to Jumia Online Shopping. Prior to this, they held the role of Lead Data Engineer at Jumia Group, where they also worked on projects related to the online shopping platform.

Hélder also has experience as a Book Author at O'Reilly, where they are co-authoring a book on Analytics Engineering with SQL and DBT. The book is set to be released in the second half of 2023.

Hélder is also the Co-Founder of ShopAI.co, a company they started in 2018. In 2015, Hélder enrolled in FEP U. Porto and completed a Master's degree in Economics and Management, specializing in Data Analytics in 2017.
