James Strong has a diverse range of work experience in the field of technology and cloud computing. James has held various roles in different companies, starting from their early career as an IT Intern at McGohan Brabender.
At the University of Dayton, James worked as a Network Support specialist, where they gained experience in network management applications and infrastructure upgrades.
Moving forward, they joined GE Appliances as a Technologist and later as a Lead Technologist, focusing on cloud architecture and migration, utilizing technologies like Ruby, Puppet, and Docker. James also contributed to the development and support of in-house private cloud solutions.
After their time at GE Appliances, James worked as a DevOps Engineer at CafePress Inc., where they played a crucial role in transitioning the organization to a cloud-based architecture and API-driven infrastructure. James also worked at Contino as a Senior DevOps Consultant, Technical Principal, and Cloud Native Director, where they helped software delivery teams adopt DevOps and continuous delivery tools.
