Jason Katzer

Jason Katzer has an extensive work history in various roles within the technology industry. Jason is currently working as a Principal Software Engineer (IC7/Director) at Ramp since July 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Venture Partner at Root System starting in January 2023. In 2020, they worked as an Investor at Turing Labs Inc. and founded CloudPro, where they developed developer productivity tools.

In terms of leadership positions, Jason served as the Director of Software Engineering at Pawp, Inc from September 2021 to June 2023. Before that, they were the CTO at Curex from January 2020 to August 2021. Jason also held the role of Director of Software Engineering at Paribus Co. from June 2016 to January 2020.

Jason's experience in the technology industry includes working as a Director of Software Engineering / Distinguished Engineer at Capital One, specifically within the Paribus/WikiBuy/Jewel teams, from October 2016 to January 2020. Jason was responsible for leading the development of Mailbox and other serverless systems, utilizing modern technologies and microservice architecture.

Jason completed their undergraduate studies at San Jose State University from 2002 to 2007.
