Maksim Tsvetovat has a diverse and extensive work experience. Maksim founded and served as the CTO of Open Health Network, where they developed a mobile health platform and applications. At O'Reilly Media, they published a book titled "Hacking Social Complexity" and also authored "Social Networks for Startups." As the Interim CTO at Meelo Logic, they contributed to the development of a brand intelligence platform. Additionally, they worked as the Chief Technology Officer at DeepMile Networks, LLC, focusing on social media analytics algorithms. Maksim also held the position of Assistant Professor at George Mason University, specializing in Computational Social Science. Furthermore, they served as the President and Chief Scientist at Slonim Consulting Group, and as a Senior Research Programmer at Carnegie Mellon University. Maksim began their career as a student at the University of Minnesota.
Maksim Tsvetovat obtained a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota from 1996 to 1999. Following this, they pursued a Ph.D. degree in Computation, Organizations and Society at Carnegie Mellon University, where they studied between 1999 and 2005.
