Miranda Mota has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Starting in 2006, they worked at CHOPS DeMeo Teen Club as a Youth Mentor and Art Studio Leader, where they led a city-wide campaign promoting developmental assets through banner designing. Miranda then joined Santa Rosa Junior College as an Instructional Aide, working with students preparing for the GED test and developing curriculum materials. In 2011, they became the Fundraising Coordinator & Assistant Festival Director at Bike Monkey. From 2012 to 2017, Miranda worked at Maker Media, first as a Sponsor Relations Coordinator for Maker Faire, and later as a Client Services Manager. Their most recent position is at O'Reilly Media, where they started as a Customer Success Manager in 2017 and eventually transitioned to roles of increasing responsibility, including Senior Customer Success Manager, Associate Product Manager, and currently, Product Manager.
Miranda Mota pursued their education in the field of History of Art. Miranda began their academic journey at Santa Rosa Junior College from 2006 to 2008, where they earned an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree. Motivated to further expand their knowledge, they then attended the University of California, Berkeley from 2008 to 2010. At Berkeley, they successfully completed their undergraduate studies and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History of Art.
