Previously, Humberto worked as a Consultor at Veiya SC from September 2016 to May 2022, specializing in food safety compliance, organic certification, social responsibility, and regulatory compliance, while also being a Lead Instructor for FSPCA. From August 2005 to August 2016, Humberto held the position of Director of Food Safety LATAM at Driscoll's, overseeing food safety, organic integrity, and social compliance across Mexico, Chile, Argentina, and Peru. Earlier in their career, Humberto was a Food Safety Professional at SENASICA-SAGARPA from September 2003 to August 2005, focusing on inspections and strategic projects for the National Good Agricultural Practices Program. Humberto earned a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Sciences from Universidad de Guadalajara, along with a Licenciatura en Químico Farmacobiologo in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biology, Microbiology, and Food.
