Environmental Health And Safety Engineer III / Team Lead at Organogenesis

Emily Hickey has a strong background in environmental health and safety. Emily began their career as a Field Service Technician, where they handled the loading and unloading of hazardous waste and performed DOT labeling and placarding duties. Emily then progressed to roles as an Environmental Specialist II and III, where they presumably worked on environmental compliance and regulations. Emily also worked as an On Site Supervisor, providing environmental, health, and safety support to multiple pharmaceutical sites. Most recently, they worked at Veolia as an Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator, where they managed compliance for health and safety programs, including the development of various safety plans. Emily is currently working at Organogenesis as an Environmental Health and Safety Engineer III and Team Lead.

Emily Hickey attended Keene State College from 2011 to 2015 and obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Occupational Safety and Health. In addition to their degree, they have several certifications related to their field. Emily acquired the OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER certification from Veolia in May 2015. Emily also obtained certifications such as Hazmat Air Shipper Certification (IATA) from Lion Technology Inc. in April 2022, Powered Industrial Truck Operating Training Certificate from NITCO in October 2020, Standard First Aid, CPR and AED from the American Heart Association in July 2019, International Air Transport Association Dangerous Goods Regulations Course from Triumvirate Environmental in September 2018, Hazardous Waste Management & RCRA Regulations from Veoliain April 2018, and OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120 Annual Refresher from Veolia in February 2018.
