Adel Ali

Adel Ali has extensive work experience in the field of network engineering and security. Adel'smost recent position is as the Lead Network Engineer at Orica, where they currently work. Prior to that, they were a Senior Network Consultant at Trident from 2018 to 2021. From 2015 to 2018, they served as a Senior Solutions Engineer II at solutions by stc. Adel also has experience at Mobily, where they held multiple roles, including Pre-Sales Specialist Manager from 2014 to 2015 and Pre-Sales Specialist from 2012 to 2013. Adel began their career as a Senior Network and Security Engineer at Jeddah Municipality from 2006 to 2012 and also worked in the same role at ITECHMASTER for Consulting and Solutions from 2006 to 2012. Throughout their career, Adel has been involved in various aspects of network design, security architecture, and product presentations to clients.

Adel Ali attended Al-Yarmouk University from 2001 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. In terms of additional certifications, Adel has acquired a diverse range of qualifications. Adel became an Aruba Certified ClearPass Professional (ACCP) V6.5 and an Aruba Certified Mobility Associate (ACMA) V8 in 2019. That same year, they also obtained the Aruba Certified Mobility Professional (ACMP) V8 certification. In 2019, Adel became a Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE). Prior to that, they obtained the Aruba Certified Switching Professional (ACSP) V1 certification in 2018. In 2017, Adel earned the Accredited Configuration Engineer (ACE) certification from Palo Alto Networks as well as the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services. In 2016, they obtained the PSE: Datacenter Associate Exam 7.0 and the PSE: Platform Associate Exam 7.0 certifications from Palo Alto Networks. Additionally, Adel became an A10 Certified Engineer for Application Delivery and a VCP550D VMware Certified Professional 5 - Data Center Virtualization (VCP5-DCV) in 2016 and 2015 respectively. Adel achieved the CCIE Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert Service Provider #35365 certification in 2014. In 2013, Adel obtained the VCP510 VMware Certified Professional 5 - Data Center Virtualization (VCP5-DCV) certification, while in 2012, they acquired the CCIE Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert Routing & Switching #35365 credential. Adel's journey into the world of certifications started in 2007 with the CCSP Cisco Certified Security Professional certification followed by the CCNP Cisco Certified Network Professional certification. In the same year, they earned the CCNA Cisco Certified Network Associate certification. Lastly, in 2018, Adel obtained the GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC).
