Taro Mizuno

Taro Mizuno has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Taro started their career in 2002 as a Customer Service Representative at NTT West, where they served and advised customers on internet services. Taro then joined Mitsubishi UFJ Research and Consulting Co.,Ltd. in 2008 as an Associate Consultant, where they worked on the Secretariat for the Domestic Carbon Emissions Trading System and conducted feasibility studies for carbon reduction projects. From 2010 to 2012, Taro worked as a Consultant at Mitsubishi UFJ Research & Consulting Co.,Ltd., where they conducted market surveys and analysis to identify business opportunities and threats. Taro later worked at AISUD Uganda in 2013 as a Micro Finance Officer, where they conducted loan business support. In 2014, they returned to Mitsubishi UFJ Research & Consulting Co.,Ltd. as a Senior Consultant, working on public-private partnerships and the Joint Crediting Mechanism. Taro then joined OriCiro Genomics K.K. in 2019 as a Senior Manager, where they held a leadership role until 2023. Taro is currently working as a Sr. Manager of Moderna Enzymatics Operational Excellence at Moderna.

Taro Mizuno's education history is as follows:

In 2006, Taro Mizuno started their education at the Nara Institute of Science and Technology, where they pursued a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology and Neuroscience. Taro completed their studies in 2008.

In 2012, Taro Mizuno enrolled at the University of Portsmouth and pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Crisis and Disaster Management, specializing in the field of Earth and Environmental Sciences. Taro completed their studies in 2013.

In 2014, Taro Mizuno attended the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies for the International Development Professional Training Program. The degree earned during this time is not specified.

In February 2017, Taro Mizuno obtained a certification in Global Health Policy from The University of Tokyo.

In July 2016, they obtained a certification as a Disaster Prevention Expert from the Japan Bousaisi Organization.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Taro Mizuno holds certifications such as a Book-keeping 2nd Grade from the Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry and a Systems Administrator certification from the Information-technology Promotion Agency, Japan (IPA). Taro also possesses a full driving license in both Japan and the United Kingdom.
