Charles Douglas

Charles Douglas has a diverse work experience that spans various companies and industries. Charles is currently working as a Business Development Manager at Origin Markets since July 2021. Prior to this, they completed an internship at Natixis from August 2020 to April 2021, where they worked with the structuring team to develop OTC products and assisted with sales and product development.

Before their internship at Natixis, Charles worked as an Analyst at X-Finance from October 2019 to March 2020. Charles also had an internship at Natixis from April 2019 to September 2019, where they focused on exotic option pricing, OTC pricing, and cross-departmental responsibilities.

In addition, Charles gained experience as an intern at BFAM Partners, IBIS Capital, EY, and the National Bank of Abu Dhabi, where they worked in compliance, conducted research, assisted with M&A transactions, and learned about the banking industry.

Charles Douglas completed their A-levels and GCSEs at Ampleforth College from 2009 to 2014. Charles then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Econometrics at the University of Bristol from 2014 to 2017. Afterward, Charles attended École Polytechnique from 2018 to 2020, where they obtained a Master's degree in Economics, specializing in data analytics and corporate finance. In addition to their academic qualifications, they also received the Primary Market Certificate (PMC) from the International Capital Market Association in May 2022 and the PADI Open Water certification from PADI in October 2006.
