Charles Tema

Charles Tema is an experienced Senior Power Engineer at Origin Energy, a position held since November 2019. Prior to this role, Charles served as a Senior Electrical Engineer at SunWater for a brief period in late 2019. Charles' extensive background includes various managerial and engineering positions at CS Energy from June 2012 to April 2019, where responsibilities ranged from Manager of Electrical, Instrumentation & Control to acting in roles for Reliability & Performance. Earlier experience includes working as a Specialist Power Systems Engineer at NRG Energy and a brief tenure as Acting Chief Engineer at the Solomon Islands Electricity Authority. Charles holds a Master's degree in Engineering (Power Generation) from Queensland University of Technology, an Honours Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from James Cook University, and a Diploma in Electrical Engineering from Fiji National University.
