Matthew Briggs

Matthew Briggs currently serves as the People Services Team Leader at Origin Energy, a position held since August 2023. Prior to this role, Matthew held various positions at Monash College from July 2016 to August 2023, advancing from Human Resources Coordinator to Senior Human Resources Business Partner, where responsibilities included managing HR Operations, supporting recruitment, and strategic HR initiatives. Earlier experience at Mercy Health as a Group Human Resources Administrator encompassed essential HR functions, including onboarding, contract writing, and payroll. Matthew holds a Master’s degree in Commerce with a focus on Human Resource Management and a Bachelor of Social Science in Psychology and Sociology, both from Swinburne University of Technology.
