Leland Hansen

Leland Hansen, MBA, has extensive work experience in manufacturing and leadership roles. Leland is currently the Vice President of Manufacturing at Origin Materials since October 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Manufacturing at the same company from February 2023 to October 2023. Before joining Origin Materials, Hansen held positions at Orion Engineered Carbons, where they served as the Plant Manager from December 2017 to January 2023 and as the Production Manager from April 2016 to November 2017. Leland also worked at Cabot Corporation, where they held the roles of Global Process Safety Leadership from October 2011 to October 2015 and General Manager of a Chemical Plant from May 2007 to September 2011. In 2006, they worked as a Production Manager at Martco, and prior to that, they held various roles at Cabot Corporation, including Operations Manager from 2002 to 2006 and Senior Manufacturing Engineer from 1996 to 2002. Hansen started their career in the Pulp and Paper industry, where they worked as a Supervisor-Manager from 1992 to 1996.

Leland Hansen, MBA, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Ocean Engineering from the United States Naval Academy. Leland also earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Phoenix.
