Xiaowen Ning

Xiaowen Ning has three years of work experience. In 2021, they began working as an Operations Industrial Engineer at Origin Point Brands, LLC. In 2020, they worked at SunNet Solutions as a N-Sided Supply Chain Digital Platform Capstone Project. Additionally, they interned at Hebei Xindadi Electrical & Mechanical Manufacturing Co., Ltd as a Software Engineer Intern. During their internship, they developed an application to simulate the production pipeline of precast concrete component based on different optimization strategies using Java, improved the production rate by 2.3%, built a data processing pipeline to aggregate statistics from real production flow to improve the application’s accuracy by 1.5%, and abstracted interfaces for the ease of defining optimization strategies.

Xiaowen Ning attended Rice University from 2019 to 2020 and obtained a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics at The Ohio State University, graduating in 2019.
