Hlifar Runarsson

Hlifar Runarsson has extensive experience in software development and management roles. Hlifar started as a developer at HB International in 1998, working on various Windows-based systems. Hlifar then moved to Men and Mice in 2001, focusing on DNS and Active Directory analysis applications. From 2003, they took on the role of Product Manager, Developer, and CTO at Origo Iceland, where they continued to work in software development and management.

Hlifar Runarsson completed A-Levels with Physics, Chemistry, and mathematics as the main subjects at Kopavogur Institute of Education in 1990-1994. Hlifar then earned a B.Sc. in Mechanical and Energy Engineering from Reykjavik University in 1995-1998. Following this, they pursued Computer Science at Reykjavik University from 2004-2006. In 2017-2019, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Háskóli Íslands.
