Lóa Bára Magnúsdóttir has a diverse work experience background starting from 1998. Lóa Bára has held various roles in different companies, including being a Store Manager at Fífa, a Marketing Representative at Blue Lagoon Iceland, a Brand Manager at Orkla Home & Personal Care and Cloetta, and eventually moving up to the position of Chief Marketing Officer at Origo Iceland in 2023. Throughout their career, Lóa has showcased their expertise in marketing, brand management, project management, and leadership within the Icelandic IT, consumer goods, and hospitality industries.
Lóa Bára Magnúsdóttir holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Reykjavik University (2004-2007) and a Master's Degree in International Marketing Management from Regent's University London (2008-2009). Lóa Bára also participated in an exchange semester in Business Administration and Management at Tecnológico de Monterrey in 2005-2006. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Innovation perspectives and practices and as a Certified KLAK mentor from MIT, as well as a D.E.L.E. Superior in Spanish as a foreign language in 2007.
