Rasvan Ionescu

Rasvan Ionescu is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas sector, particularly in maintenance and operations. Currently serving as Lead Mechanical Engineer at Orion Group since January 2016, Rasvan oversees maintenance schedules for the Badila Oil Field and manages various equipment types. Previous roles include Mechanical Supervisor and Technician at SPIE Oil & Gas Services, Mechanical Engineering Technician at Expro, and significant leadership positions at S.C. PROIMSAT S.A. and OLTCHIM S.A., where Rasvan managed plant installations, fire protection systems, equipment assembly, and mechanical operations. Rasvan holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bucharest Polytechnics University.
