Chris Hobson

Chris Hobson is the Chief Medical Officer for North America at Orion Health. Chris has been with Orion Health for 20 years and 5 months, and has held various titles during their time with the company, including Global Chief Medical Officer, Chief Medical Officer, Chief Privacy Officer, Clinical Director, etc. Chris is responsible for clinical leadership of approximately 20 clinicians, a wide range of products and projects globally over two decades. Chris is also responsible for all aspects of patient safety privacy and compliance from a clinical perspective, including assessment management and potential liability risks. In addition to their role as Chief Medical Officer, Chris also serves as CPO with focus on the balance between safety and privacy, providing expert advice to clients on clinical and data governance programs.

Chris Hobson has a medical degree from the University of Otago, a MBA from the University of Phoenix, and a diploma in health informatics from the University of Otago. Chris is also a fellow of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners and a member of the HIMSS Canada.
