Dimitris Noutsias

Dimitris Noutsias, Ph.D., is a highly experienced research and development scientist currently employed at Orion Corporation since August 2020. Prior to this role, Noutsias worked as a researcher at Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen, focusing on the design and synthesis of peptides for neurodegenerative diseases. Noutsias's postdoctoral experience includes positions at the University of Jyväskylä, specializing in non-covalent organocatalysis and foldamer-type organocatalysts, as well as at Temple University, where Noutsias investigated cationic hypervalent iodine reagents. Noutsias earned a Ph.D. from the University of Crete, concentrating on sustainable synthetic technologies and notable natural product syntheses. Educational background includes a bachelor's degree in chemistry from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
