Alexander Van Parys

Alexander Van Parys has a diverse work experience in the field of biosciences. Alexander is currently working as a Scientist at Orionis Biosciences since January 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Post-doctoral scientist at VIB-UGent from April 2017 to December 2020. Alexander also held various roles at Ghent University, including Doctor-assistant from April 2014 to March 2017, Post-doctoral researcher from October 2012 to March 2014, and PhD student from October 2007 to October 2012.

Alexander Van Parys completed their education at Ghent University. From 2000 to 2006, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General. Following this, they continued their education from 2006 to 2007 and obtained another Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree, this time in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology. In addition to their degrees, Alexander also obtained the certification "Felasa C" from Ghent University in October 2008.
