Santhosh Karunakar

Santhosh Karunakar is Senior Director and Head of Strategic Operations of ORIX Corporation USA, responsible for leading improvement in technology and business process that supports the business strategy and objectives. He joined the firm in 2020 and is based in Dallas. Mr. Karunakar has over 20 years of experience in financial services focusing primarily on technology and various functional domains.

Prior to his employment with ORIX USA, Mr. Karunakar spent 18 years with Hudson Advisors in Dallas and Tokyo where he led multiple strategic techno-functional initiatives on a global basis to align business goals. Prior to his career with Hudson Advisors, Mr. Karunakar had been with a leading IT firm focusing on technology.

Mr. Karunakar holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Calicut in India along with a Post Graduate Diploma from Amrita Institute of Computer Technology and the National Institute of Information Technology in Computer Applications and Information Technology respectively.
