James Green

James Green is a Marine Planning Team Manager at Orkney Islands Council, overseeing statutory coastal and marine planning functions since November 2011. With experience as a Senior Policy Planner, James contributed to the internationally recognized Pentland Firth and Orkney Waters Marine Spatial Plan, which won an award at the Scottish Awards for Quality in Planning 2016. Prior to this role, James held positions including Project Manager at Green Design Partnership and Structural Landscaper at Anthony De Grey Gardens, along with various planning and landscaping roles at other organizations. James earned a Master of Science in Marine Spatial Planning and a Master of Arts in Town Planning from Heriot-Watt University.
